Come One, Come All… Join Us In Connecticut on Saturday June 8th, 2019

Hi Gang…

Our 1937 Gougeon Steamliner (aka the “Whale”) and our 1954 Frazer Custom (also known as the “Orca Special”) will “surface” for a one-day event on Saturday June 8th, 2019 at the “Show Cars From The Sea” extravaganza in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Cars with “ocean-based” names – including some “mussel” cars – are the “catch of the day” at this unique auto show.  The flyer for the event and photos of both of our cars appearing are shown below.  We are honored that our cars will be some of the “must-sea” automobiles that will be on display for all to enjoy. This is a great event for the whole family and we hope to see many new faces – car fans and aquarium enthusiasts alike.  Scroll down to learn more.

1954 Frazer Custom – also known as the “Orca Special” is also new this year to this event

This is the second time that the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, Connecticut has held this automotive “aquatica” themed event and we are honored to participate. In 2018 we attended with our 1962 “Shark” Roadster and 1956 Bangert “Manta Ray” Show Car.  Highlights of last year’s event are shown below.

We also want to thank Bob Sellers of Reliable Carriers for transporting our cars both in 2018 and 2019.  Thanks for a great job each time to the Reliable Team.

Summary:

Please join us this Saturday for a great time at the second annual “Show Cars From the Sea” and…be sure to come on by and say “hi.”

  1. Hi Geoff:
I have lost any way of contacting you as your old email address doesn’t work. I wanted to tell you about a Victress coupe restored to race worthy condition by Mike Leicester in California. I can send to a contact if you wish. I am also in contact with vintage racer Wes Abendroth who races a fibreglass replica (What else!) of the GM Manta Ray. If you would like his contact points, I can send them to you. I have to believe however, with your myriad contacts, you may already know these gentlemen.
    Cheers,
    John R. Wright
