155 Unknown Cars Car 10—No License Plate: Could be Known Car, Missing Car, New Car and/or Same as Car 9 The four photos of this car (these two pages and the following page) were taken just outside the Raymond Way Motors dealership which was the primary—perhaps exclusive—dealership for Allard Clipper cars as discussed on the back page of the Clipper brochure. Additional information about Raymond Way Motors appears earlier in this book. Since one of the photos in this sequence was used in official press release for the Clipper, the date of the press release— October 18, 1954—serves as a good indicator for the approximate date of these photos. The published article appeared in their magazine on October 21st, 1954. The photo on the next page with the woman behind the wheel was used in the official Allard Press Release shown earlier in this book. Editor of “Motor Cycling” magazine, Bob Holliday, is behind the wheel in photo above—most likely it’s the day they magazine visited the Allard Clipper for the magazine’s test drive and assessment.
