10 Glasspar G2 The Glasspar G2 is recognized as one of the first fiberglass sports cars built in America, having first debuted in late 1951 at the Petersen Motorama. The car was designed and built by esteemed boat designer and builder Bill Tritt, and his company Glasspar of Costa Mesa, California. Glasspar built approximately 100 cars and bodies from 1951 thru 1955. The driver in the movie was Johnny Daheim—a Hollywood stunt driver.
