133 Fiberglass Farms Over the years we ’ ve done many things with Fiberglass Farms in terms of promotion, publicity, TV shows and more. None of it detracts from what it actually is—a holding place for significant handcrafted cars before we can find the right path for them for stewardship, restoration, showing, sharing and ownership. Each year cars at the “ Farms ” are moved to facilities where the restoration begins for ourselves or their new owners. This means that each year we create more “ space ” at the Fiberglass Farms for new additions, although most recently many of these additions are now handcrafted steel or aluminum cars. The “ Farms ” is not a static environment—it ’ s a dynamic one. It ’ s a place where cars begin their journey back to reclaiming their history, legacy and beauty. And if we ’ re successful, the “ Farms ” will be gone when we ’ ve found paths for each and every car ’ s restoration. But the serious role that the “ Farms ” plays for us here at Undiscovered Classics doesn ’ t mean we can ’ t have fun with it. And on the next two pages you ’ ll see a poster called “ Raiders of the Lost Cars ” which speaks to our Undiscovered Classics mission. And on the following page is our “ Lost Treasure of Fiberglass Farms—Treasure Map ” - a children ’ s fable on how the farms came to be and one that we give to our guests with children.
