137 Caricatures Art and appreciation come in many forms. We ’ ve always viewed cars as a form of “ art ” and in doing so it gives us both freedom and the challenge of looking at how to both promote our cars for a debut and how to attract attention so that people will be interested in learning about cars they ’ ve never heard of before. We ’ ve been honored to work with noted artist Jimmy Smith for nearing twenty years. Jimmy is well - known in the industry as both a “ privateer ” who creates commissioned work as well as an artist who has created many of the more famous images that have been used in Hot Rod Magazine. Click here to learn more about Jimmy Smith. Jimmy created caricatures of several of our cars as you can see on this page and the facing page. We ’ ve been on a path to create caricatures of all our cars so that some day in the future we can represent our Undiscovered Classics collection in caricature form on a website. The image of each car would be the gateway image to learning more about the car but …. the goal of doing something like this is still some time away. In the meantime, the images here and more of Jimmy ’ s work continues to bring attention to our cars and smiles to people ’ s faces. 1947 (left) and 1948 (right) Kurtis - Omohundro Comet
