142 During our investigation into the Strother MacMinn, John Bond 1958 LeMans Coupe, our research revealed for the first time the full story of two build teams and several cars created. And we acquired one of the cars too. Our research into our recent acquisition, the 1966 Cannara I, proved it to be the first car built of the wedge car movement. We subsequently released a book on Wedge Car Design. We led a 3 year project with collectors and libraries across the country to collectively identify all car magazines that were published from 1946 - 1960. This era was replete with small regional magazines long forgotten. From a researchers standpoint, these lost magazines are treasure troves of information that help answer questions with each discovery. Research into the lost history of our 1947 Kurtis - Omohundro Comet resulted in revealing custom car literature missing from collections and thought lost to time. After finding the full record and literature we collaborated with The Rodder ’ s Journal to re - publish and make this material available again.
