46 One of the cars we ’ re looking forward to restoring is our 1954 Chicagoan. Once our research began, it took us several years to find the car but it ’ s now part of our stable and ready to begin. The Chicagoan was part of the largest “ in - period ” appearance of concept cars to ever appear in a major auto show. This occurred at the 1954 Chicago Auto Show where cars such as the Ford Atmos, Desoto Ghia, Hudson Italia, Cadillac Le Espada, Plymouth Belmont, Corvette Hardtop, Dodge Firearrow and many more all made appearances. Our Chicagoan Sports Concept was featured with these cars and “ tomorrow ’ s ” best.
