53 Finding an interesting car is only the start of the process at Undiscovered Classics. We couldn ’ t pass up such an extraordinary 1937 Cord Phaeton so it became part of our collection. What makes this different is that it was stretched at the cowl approximately 2 feet. The workmanship in this area is exceptional and on close inspection it took parts from two Cords to complete. Further research revealed photos of the Cord Phaeton in beautiful shape taken by Karl Ludvigsen (inset) in the early 1950s in Boston, Massachusetts. Who Built it? When in the late 1940s/early 1950s was it built? Who commissioned it? All questions we ’ re currently researching here at Undiscovered Classics.
