57 Six New Bodies and Custom - Built Chassis The cars we research, restore and sell are some of the rarest American postwar sports cars in existence. From the start, we planned to make molds of some of the most special cars to help the restoration of historic examples. We also have started to offer a limited number of these cars to the public as completed sports cars. At this time we have molds for six of these cars: • Byers SR - 100 (100” wheelbase) • Allied Blackhawk Coupe (100” wheelbase) • Sorrell SR - 100 (100” wheelbase) • Bangert Manta Ray (100” wheelbase) • CRV Piranha Roadster (88” - 90” wheelbase) • Covington Tiburon Coupe (82.5” wheelbase) We are now building our 2nd Byers SR - 100, our first Allied Blackhawk coupe and a Covington Tiburon Coupe too. When work is completed on all three of these cars, we ’ ll move forward on additional molds for the following cars (one at a time, of course): • Allied “ Cisitalia ” Swallow (94” wheelbase) • Maverick Sportster (126” wheelbase) • Victress S1A (99” wheelbase) • Victress S5 (94” wheelbase) • McCormack (106” wheelbase) You can read Autoweek ’ s take in 2019 on our first completed Byers sports car in the following six pages.
