81 Restorations Begin With The Artistry of Dan Palatnik 3D Renderings Guide Our Restorations at Undiscovered Classics Our thoughts and the use of imagery for our Undiscovered Classic cars has evolved over the years. During this time we ’ ve walked step by step with our friend and artist in residence, Dan Palatnik. While imagery is good for appreciation as artwork – it ’ s much more to us. Here we use Dan ’ s renderings to guide all members of our teams during each and every restoration – for ourselves and customers alike. We ’ ve used this process on 15 different cars – and the number of cars increases with each passing year. To the right and on the facing page are photos of our cars before and after restoration and the renderings that guided us at every step. When Dan does renderings for our cars, 20 - 30 different angles, interior shots and other features of the car are shown. It takes a full - set of renderings to guide the team and after the restoration is complete we have beautiful artwork to share. Everyone wins. Photos at Right: A great example of this process is our recently restored 1953 Maverick Sportster. The top photo shows the condition of the car “ as found ”. In the center photo is the target rendering “ look ” that our team agreed on. The bottom photo shows the finished restoration. Our finished 1953 Maverick debuted at the 2021 Amelia Island Concours d ’ Elegance.
