87 Awards Received We are always honored to appear at a concours with one or more of our cars. We consider the appearance alone a “ win ” for the car, its history and for the Undiscovered Classics movement. But we ’ ve done better than just appear, and on a number of occasions we ’ ve won some prestigious awards with our cars. These awards include: • 2021: The Buddy Palumbo Award for our 1953 Maverick Sportster at the Amelia Island Concours d ’ Elegance • 2021: The Chief Judge ’ s Award for our 1953 Maverick Sportster at the Cincinnati Concours d ’ Elegance • 2016: The Amelia Award for our 1961 Tiburon Porsche Coupe at the Amelia Island Concours d ’ Elegance • 2015: The Rolling Sculpture Award for our 1946 Bill Burke Belly Tank Streamliner at the Boca Raton Concours d ’ Elegance • 2014: The Chief Judge ’ s Award for our 1955 LeGene “ Californian ” Roadster at the Boca Raton Concours d ’ Elegance • 2009: The Most Elegant Sports Car Award for our 1947 Kurtis - Omohundro Comet at the Amelia Island Concours d ’ Elegance Some of these awards are shown on the facing page. Our 1947 Kurtis - Omohundro Comet not only headlined the 2013 Milwaukee Masterpiece Concours d ’ Elegance but was used in art form for the official poster, tickets, awards and more for the entire 2013 event. It was quite an honor for our team.
