Bellflower, California – Two Articles

This is the first appearance – late 1948 – of the Kurtis Omohundro Comet in literature.  It’s not surprising it was in a newspaper.  Only a few automobile magazines existed at the time with the earliest being Speed Age starting in May, 1947 and Road & Track beginning in June, 1947.  The 1948 Kurtis-Omohundro Comet is one of the earliest postwar coachbuilt sports cars that exists today.
