MacMinn was in his early 30s when he created these illustrations for who would become life-long friends – J.L. Elbert, the author of the book and Dan Post, the publisher.  Mac had just joined the Art Center staff a few years earlier, and these illustrations represent his earliest work we’ve found so far that appear in printed form in the postwar years.  Hope you enjoy MacMinn’s illustrations below.
